Performance Optimizations

System Configuration

• Press Windows Key + R
• Type msconfig and click OK
• Select Boot
• Enable No GUI boot and click Advanced options…
• Enable and select Number of processors highest number available

Local Group Policy Editor

• Press Windows Key + R
• Type gpedit.msc and click OK
• Find: Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Defender Antivirus
• Double-click the Turn off Windows Defender Antivirus policy
• Select the Enabled and click OK
• Find: Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Windows Updates
• Double-click the Configure Automatic Updates policy
• Select the Disabled and click OK

Regedit

• Press Windows Key + R
• Type regedit and click OK
• Find: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Multimedia\SystemProfile
• “SystemResponsiveness” set to 00000000 for pure gaming/streaming
• “NetworkThrottlingIndex”set to ffffffff for gaming and max throughput
• Find: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Multimedia\SystemProfile\Tasks\Games
• “GPU Priority” set to 8
• “Priority” set to 6
• “Scheduling Category” set to High
• Find: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\{NIC-id}
• Create new DWORD “TcpAckFrequency” and set to 1
• Create new DWORD “TCPNoDelay” and set to 1
• Create new DWORD “TcpDelAckTicks” and set to 0
• Find: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SecurityHealthService
• “Start” set to 4
• Find: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\wscsvc
• “Start” set to 4

Disable Mouse Acceleration

• Pointer Options
• Untick Enhance Pointer Precision (this is mouse acceleration)

Power Options

Visual Effects and Performance

• Keep these 3 enabled, others disabled

Disable Restrictive Services

• Press Windows Key + R
• Type services.msc and click OK
• Right-click on service you want to disable and select Properties
• Select Startup type: Disabled and click OK
